      Our research areas:

  • determination of heavy metals (Hg, Pb, Cd, Cu, Pb, Cr) in different types of environmental samples (water, soils, sediments, sludge) and biological samples (plants, food, body fluids)

  • determination of elements generating hydrids (As, Sb, Se) in different types of environmental samples (water, soils, sediments, sludge) and biological samples (plants, food, body fluids)

  • speciation of heavy metals and elements generating hydrids in water, soils and sludge

  • determination of bioaccessible forms of elements in soils and sludge

We are focused to solve these following problems:

  • determination of As in soils, plants and minerals from Belianske Tatry by HGAAS

  • determination of Se in blood serum of children living in Bratislava by ETAAS

  • determination of Pb in the bones of the birds living in High Tatras by ETAAS

  • determination and speciation of Cr in waters and soils with the application on real samples of waters and water soil leachates

  • determination of many heavy metals in plants and moss by FAAS and ETAAS

  • determination of heavy metals (Pb, Al) from z chamois grazing-lands by ETAAS a ICP-AES

  • determination of Cr in body fluids
